True North Camps

Camp is a place where kids can explore the world and discover who they are. It's a place where they can take risks, try new things and learn more about themselves. But what happens if a child gets sick at camp?
It's a concern that many parents have when sending their children off to camp for the first time. Fortunately, most camps have very good health care facilities in place. But what happens if your child comes down with something serious? The best thing to do is to talk to your child’s camp nurse or doctor if you have any concerns. Ask them if they have any suggestions on how best to handle any health related issues that might arise while your child is at camp. You should also check with your insurance company to make sure your coverage will be valid outside of the U.S., especially in case of emergency evacuation or repatriation.
